Interview 3–10 solopreneurs in your network using our Ally Research Framework, then submit recordings and post-call reflections that feed real market research.
Systems by Meli helps solopreneurs design the operating systems behind their businesses — the workflows, the tools, the AI-assisted plumbing that lets one person run a real company. To keep building for them, we need to hear from them. A lot of them.
That's where you come in. We're bringing on student researchers to run structured 30-minute interviews (sometimes longer) with solopreneurs in your close network — people who are actively building something on their own. You'll use our Ally Research Framework as the backbone of each conversation. The goal is not to pitch anything. The goal is to listen, ask sharp follow-ups, and surface the real friction points in how these founders spend their days.
Each month you'll aim for 3 to 10 interviews. For each one you'll: record the call, upload the recording to your assigned Google Drive folder, submit the link through our shared intake form, and complete a post-call reflection. At the end of the call you'll invite the interviewee to fill out our diagnostic and, if they want, book a session with Melisa.
You get: the Ally Research Framework, interview prompts, a Drive folder, the intake form, the reflection template, and direct feedback from Melisa on your first few interviews. You leave with real user-research reps, a much sharper read on how solopreneurs actually work, and interview footage you can point to in your own portfolio.
